  Decent moderately priced family steakhouse. Friendly staff. Reasonable selection. Salads tend to have too much dressing, and the vegetable options are limited, but this is a place that celebrates meat and simple carbs.
  If you are careful, you can find a tasty high protein low carb meal, but you have to forgo their signature rolls.
  The menu lists calorie count for all items.

  I've been to Texas Roadhouse (including this location) several times and have always loved it. However, this time was different.
  
  First, the table was filthy when we were seated. A child's booster seat and several pieces of silverware were left under the table, a straw paper was on the table and the table had food stuck to it.
  
  Secondly, the was what appeared to be blood on my salad plate. This was by far the biggest issue as this can be a major health issue. It was underneath the salad so I did not see it until after I had already eaten some of the salad. Both the waitress or manager understood how serious this can be and seemed inconvenienced when we brought it up to them. In the end they did not offer any compensation until we asked, which was only $5 off.
  
  Lastly, the steak was very overcooked. I ordered it medium and it was much closer to well done, not pink at all.
  
  This was not the experience I have come to expect from Texas Roadhouse. It's one of my favorite places to go but I have to admit that this experience doesn't exactly have me in a hurry to go back anytime soon.

  Texas Roadhouse- Chambersburg, Pennsylvania
  
  Ok so it's a chain... Not my usual fare but I have to tell you... This place was great! You won't find a "more happy to be working together" crew anywhere. Unbelievably friendly staff that really cares. Took me by surprise to be honest.
  
  It's just a fun place so if you find yourself in the Chambersburg area, come on in and tell 'em Paul sent you. You'll have fun, I did.

  We had no complaints about service.  My husband was bummed that the only dish he ate there had been taken off the menu (fried catfish), so he rallied and ordered a burger.  But we won't be back due to the bad food poisoning he got last night and the migraine this morning from dehydration.

  When you just want a steak, Texas Roadhouse gets the job done. My 11 ounce sirloin was cooked exactly as I requested and it tasted great. Just right medium rare, topped with mushrooms and with a good baked potato, it hit the spot.
  
  Yep, TR does the line dancing every so often. It's corny as heck but they still do it.
